Cataract Surgery That Restores Clear Vision

A cataract is when the eye lens turns cloudy; vision starts to look blurry or faded. This develops with age but can also be brought on by some medications, injuries, or other medical conditions. At Lall Eye Care, we restore the eye’s ability to focus effectively. Surgery helps with that by removing the cloudy lens and replacing it with a clear artificial one using micro-incision surgery with a soft, foldable lens, a method known for its dependability, safety, and comfort.

Not everyone needs the same lens. We help you choose one suited to your eyes, based on your daily activities and overall eye health. Here are two lens options available:

Curious About Cataract Surgery? Ask Us

Should I wait until my cataract is fully "ripe" before surgery?

Not anymore. With modern micro-incision surgery, waiting only raises the risk of complications. It’s better and easier to have it done early.

Not many. You just need to protect your eye from injury and infection, and use your eye drops as prescribed. There’s no need to cut out certain foods, avoid light, or stop cooking.

No. Once it’s placed in the eye, the lens lasts a lifetime and rarely ever needs replacing.

Sometimes, patients get a condition called posterior capsular opacification, or PCO. It’s easy to treat; a quick, painless laser procedure brings your vision back to normal.
